All seven stages, one contract
Turnkey brand creation: one team from the first idea to the first sale
Turnkey brand creation means one contract and one accountable team for strategy, name, range, factory, compliance and launch plan. You still decide at every stage whether to continue.
What turnkey brand creation means in practice
Turnkey brand creation is a service in which one team takes a product brand from the first idea to the first delivery and launch plan. BrandgeniQ covers strategy, naming, identity and packaging, assortment, manufacturing, compliance and go-to-market under a single contract with an EU company, usually within 6–12 months. You own the result.
The main advantage is that decisions which depend on each other get made together. The name is screened before the packaging is printed, and the label is checked against the market’s rules before anyone orders it in quantity.
Turnkey is not always right. If you have a strong name and a good factory, order only the stage you lack. If you doubt the numbers, start with the margin calculator and a business case.
Seven stages of a product brand
Each stage ends with a result you own and a decision to continue or stop. Order the full chain or only the part you lack.
- 1Brand strategyMarket, buyer, positioning, price tier and a go/no-go business case.
- 2NamingNames screened by language, domain and trademark.
- 3Identity & packagingLogo, packaging system and print-ready, legally complete labels.
- 4AssortmentRange matrix, price ladder and launch waves by channel.
- 5ManufacturingFactory search, audit, samples, MOQ, quality control and logistics.
- 6Compliance & trademarkMarket rules, testing, labelling and a trademark filing plan.
- 7Launch & promotionChannel order, budget and KPIs for the first 12 months.
What you hold at the end
Every item is a document or asset you can take to another supplier. Nothing stays locked inside our files.
- Business case with target price, channel fees and landed cost per product
- Name with screening results, and trademark filings in your name through licensed attorneys
- Logo, identity files and print-ready packaging artwork
- Launch range with the reasoning for each product and a list of what comes later
- Product specifications, approved reference samples and the factory’s details
- Launch plan with channels, budget split and the numbers to watch in the first 12 months
Turnkey, separate contractors or doing it in-house
The honest comparison depends on how much coordination you can absorb yourself.
| Turnkey with one team | Separate contractors | In-house team | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Who answers when something does not fit | One team under one contract | You, between agency, agent and attorney | Your own manager |
| Name, packaging and rules checked together | Yes, by design | Only if you organise it | If someone has done it before |
| Your management time | Decisions at each gate | High: briefs, handovers, disputes | Highest, but builds internal skill |
| Best fit | Mid-size company launching a first or a new brand | Experienced buyer with a clear brief for each part | Company planning many private brands over years |
Larger retailers with a permanent private-brand department often gain more from buying single stages.

Why one contract helps
Everything is yours
Name, design files, specifications and trademark filings belong to you. You can change factory or partner later without starting again.
A real exit at each gate
You can stop after any stage and pay only for the stages completed. What was finished stays with you.
Fee and third-party costs kept apart
Our fee is fixed by stage in the proposal. Factory, labs, attorneys and freight are shown separately so you can see each one.
Frequently asked questions
What is a turnkey brand?
A turnkey brand is a product brand built for you by one provider, from strategy and name through manufacturing and launch plan, so that you receive a ready-to-sell brand you own. With us it is one contract and seven stages, each with a stop option.
How long does turnkey brand creation take?
Usually 6–12 months from brief to first sales. Regulated categories such as cosmetics, supplements, food and children’s products can take longer because of testing and notification. A factory’s peak season can also shift the date.
Who is legally responsible for the product?
You, in most cases, and no contract fully changes that. Under EU general product safety rules, a company selling under its own name or trademark is treated as the manufacturer. We prepare the file and check it with licensed specialists, but the duties remain with the brand owner and importer.
Have a product idea? Check it before you buy stock.
Send a short brief. We tell you what we think, including when we think you should not do it.
Tell us about your brand
A few lines are enough: what you want to sell, where and to whom. We reply with an honest view of feasibility, the stages you need and the next step.
- No obligation: the first review of your idea is free
- If we think the idea will not pay back, we say so
- Your idea stays confidential; we can sign an NDA
