Private label by product category

Each product category has its own rules, minimums and buying logic. Find out what yours involves before you commit to a plan.

How category changes a private label project

Private label works differently by category: a cosmetic needs a responsible person and a safety report in the EU, a toy needs CE marking, and a tote bag may need little beyond general product safety. Those differences decide your timeline and cash needs far more than the design does.

Our own practice is in plush and souvenirs. In other categories we work with selected contract manufacturers and licensed specialists. The pages below explain what to expect, and the manufacturing models help you pick an approach.
